Converse X The Clash

When you think of kicks you automatically think
Nike. When your Granddad thinks of kicks, he
thinks of "Chucks". When you think of influential
musicians, you think of Kanye. When I think of
influential musicians, I think of The Clash. If you
don't know who The Clash are, then look them
up. If you don't know what "Chucks" are, you've
probably just moved here from another planet.
Last month Converse released the London Calling
Chuck Taylor Shoe to commemorate the 30 year
anniversary of the London Calling LP.

Ant's Album of the Week

Every week i'm going to be posting an album
that influenced us or was just hella dope. I'm
doing this because other than Deltron Event II,
I really don't see any new music on the horizon
that I'm happy about. So sit back, enjoy and get
your Bit Torrents warmed up.

Aesop Rock-Labor Days
Photobucket

Labor Days is considered to be Aesop Rock's
definitive work, hailing near unanimous praise
from all critics, and becoming a cornerstone of
the underground rap movement from the Early
2000's through the present. With his taste for slow
melodic beats and the metaphoric(and much bitten)
rhyme style, Aesop delivered a much needed shot in
the arm of a hip-hop community coming off a Puffy,
Mase, Master P, Mainstream Rap high. The entire
album is flawless but check out:
